Muzaffarpur : Four persons were killed in a head- on clollision between a Maruti Ritz and a Pick-up van at Berua Mor under Gaighat police station in Muzaffarpur district on June 21, 2017, noon.
The deceased included Nityanand Singh, his son Ankush Singh, car driver Ram Mahto and a local Anshu Jha, according to SHO, Gaighat police station, Mohad Sujauddin. He said that Nityanand Singh had come from Mumbai, where he works, and was en route his native village Sirua under Baheri police station in Darbhanga district. His son Ankush and a nephew had come to receive him at Muzaffarpur Zero mile and they were returning to Sirua by car when it had a head-on collision with the pick van. Three persons died on the spot while Nitayanand Singh died at hospital.
Sources said that Nityanand Rai had come from Mumbai to attend the last rites of his mother.
