Muzaffarpur: Four persons were killed and 9 others sustained serious injuries  in a major road accident on June 25, 2021, early morning, when a speeding truck
coming from Motihari dashed a stationary  private bus from behind near village Nariar on NH28 Piprakothi –Muzaffarpur road. Those killed or injured in the accident were standing beside the bus when its crew was changing the tyre.

DSP,  Muzaffarpur West Imran Masood, said that the bus was carrying a Baraat party and was returning  from Dhaka in East Champaran District  to village Jarang in Muzaffarpur Distict, both in North Bihar. The bus parked  on the flank of NH28 near Nariar to change its tyre as it had developed crack.The passengers of the bus  were standing beside the vehicle witnessing the change of tyre when the accident occurred, the DSP added.

The DSP said that all the injured were rushed to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hosputal (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur), for treatment where the condition of three injored was critical. The police have lodged an FIR in this connection and seized both the vehicles .
