Four inmates of Ara Jail shifted to Buxar Central Jail

Ara : Bhojpur Jail administration, on the direction of the IG (Prisons) shifted four inmates of Ara jail to Buxar Central Jail on July 5, 2018, late evening, for hatching plan to escape from the jail, spreading hatred in the jail, groupism and other charges. The inmates shifted to Buxar Central Jail are : Sonu Pandey, Awadhesh Yadav, Laxman Singh and Indradeo Singh.

Jail Superintendent, Niranjan Pandey, said that Sonu Pandey, son of Bikrama Pandey of village Dhangai under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur , had escaped from the Buxar Central Jail along with his five aides on December 30, 2016. About four months ago, Bhojpur police arrested him from near Gangi locality under Ara Town police station when he was coming on his motorcycle along with his two friends. He had also killed his neighbour and was convicted in the case.
