Patna : Three Bihar cadre IAS officers of 1993 batch : Sandip Poundrik, Uday Singh Kumawat, and Mihir Kumar Singh, and one IAS officer of 1994 batch Atish Chandra were on December 31, 2018, given proforma promotion to the rank of Principal Secretary (Higher Administrative Grade). The General Administration Department, Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on December 31, 2018.
The three 1993 batch IAS officers : Sadip Poundrik, Uday Singh, Kumawat, and Mihir Kumar Singh, have been promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary with effect from January 1, 2018. Atish Chandra (1994) has been promoted to Principal Secretary rank with effect from January 1, 2019.
Sandip Poundrik, Mihir Kumar, and Atish Chandra are on central deputation. Uday Singh Kumawt returned from central deputation on June 25, 2018.
