Ara : Police have failed to arrest four notorious criminals: Dhan Ji Yadav of Shital Tola locality, Mantu Kahar of Anand Nagar under Ara Town police station, Monu Yadav of Maulabagh under Nawada police station, and Manish Singh, who have unleashed terror comitting crimes at will openly challenging them.
The firing at two places on Nala road, about 100 meter from the Ara Town police station, and murder of a staff of Mahindra Showroom on Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station in quick succession in broad daylight recently is a glaring example of collapse of law and order in the district.
Dhan Ji Yadav and Mantu Kahar are named accused in killing of Kundan Singh at Kulharia on Ara-Patna main road and firing and injuring Toni and Dhanu at Sheetal Tola but are absconding. They had been jailed earlier but were granted bail two years ago though Shiv Ji and Doman Yadav of Mantu Kahar gang surrendered before the court and were sent to jail.
Monu Yadav is wanted in the firing at the gate of Ara jail on July 8, 2018, and also at Maulabagh on February 20, 2018. He had been in jail for firing and injuring the son of a Cinema Hall owner in the past.
And now Manish Singh poses challenge to police administration by firing at three places within half an hour near two police stations and also killing an accountant and injuring a salesman of a show room. He was in jail but escaped from the court when he was brought over there for production before to be produced the court on August 25, 2018.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that all the entry points have been sealed and the miscreants have been identified with the CCTV footage and police are conducting raids to arrest the killers very soon. He said these miscreants have created havoc in the area and added with their arrest crime graphs will come down.
Manish Singh entered the crime world about two years ago and wants to establish himself as a terror in the area.
