Four arrested in Bagaha for manufacturing liquor

Bagaha : A police team led by Bagaha police station SHO Mohd Ayub unearthed a liquor factory on February 8 night from Oraon tola Jitpur under Bagaha police station  in West Champaran district. The SHO said that police, on a tip off, conducted raid at the village and recovered 15 litres of countrymade liquor and about 200 litres of semi-finished Mahua liquor, 10 kg gur and several instruments. Later on, liquor was destroyed and four persons engaged in preparing the liquor were arrested and sent to Bagaha sub- jail on February 9, the SHO said. The arrested persons were identified as Maina Devi, Chandan Oraon, Lakshmi Oraon and Sukhdeo Oraon.
