Former Mukhia sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment in murder case

Buxar : Additional District and Sessions Judge, VI, Buxar Civil Court, Suman Kumar Singh, on August 31, 2018, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment to former mukhia Suresh Kumar Yadav alias Langa Yadav in the case of  murder of Rice Miller and Hotel Owner, Ranjeet Rai, in 2011. The court had convicted him on August 30, 2018, and fixed August 31, 2018, for the pronouncement of quantum of punishment.

Rice Miller and Hotel owner Ranjeet Rai was shot dead on November 1, 2011, and a former mukhia Suresh Kumar Yadav alias Langa Yadav and 10 others were made named accused in this murder case. The court after hearing both the parties acquitted 10 accused for want of evidence but convicted Suresh Kumar Yadav in the case.
