Aurangabad: Condolence meetings were held under different blocks of Aurangabad district on December 21 to pay tributes to former MP Kishori Sinha, wife of former chief minister late Satyendra Narayan Sinha, who passed away after prolonged illness at a private hospital in Patna on December 19. She was 90 and had represented Vaishali in Lok Sabha twice from 1980 to 1989 from Congress. Her son Nikhil Kumar is a former Governor.
At a meeting held on the premises of Nabinagar Plus 2 High School,a large number of people including Bhola Yadav, Ramjit Sharma, Mansoor Alam and Praveen Kumar recalled the contributions of Kishori Sinha. The teachers of the school observed silence for two minutes as a mark of respect to her.
Another function was organized at Rafiganj block Congress office where Youth Congress local chief Mohd. Hasham Siddqui, Ramraj Singh, Rajeshwari Singh and Dharmendra Singh said that Congress has suffered an irreparable loss due to her untimely death. They also observed two minute silence on the occasion. Congress workers also organized a condolence meeting at Amba where Arvind Kumar Singh, Ramakant Pandey and Brijnandan Singh and Madan Singh were present.
