Former Jt Director, IPRD, K K Upadhayay, is no more

Patna : Former Joint Director, Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), Bihar Government, Kamla Kant Upadhayay, 56, died on March 31, 2018, noon, while sleeping probably due to heart failure. He was known as a very hard working, honest, and dedicated officer.

K K Upadhyayay had taken voluntary retirement from government service in November 2017 and planning for his second innings in literary field. He was quite healthy and had no health issues. In fact, he was in robust health. Several senior journalists have mourned him. He is survived by his wife, a teacher in a top private school of Patna, and two sons. His eldest son Aditya Vaibhav is also a journalist.
