Ara/ Sasaram : Five teenagers including four girls met their watery grave at three different places on September 13, 2017, evening, in Bhojpur and Rohtas district.
Seema Kumari, 15, daughter of Ramesh Rajak, and Iti Kumari alias Laxmi Kumari, 13, daughter of Suraj Thakur of Nonaur village under Hasan Bazaar police outpost under Piro Sub-division in Bhojpur district drowned in a pond of the village where they had gone to take bath along with their mother on September 13 evening. Rani Kumari, 14, daughter of Harendra Yadav of village Sarana under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district also drowned in a tributory of river Durgawati on September 13 evening while taking a dip in the river along with her grandmother.
In Rohtas district, Sourabh Paswan, 14, of village Hata under Chenari police station, Khushbu Kumari, 13, daughter of Santosh Singh, and Priya Kumari, 13, daughter of Ashok Singh of village Khairahi under Bhansa police outpost were swept away in the fast current of village canal when they were taking a dip along there with their mothers on September 13 evening. Body of Sourabh Paswan was found about 1 km away from the place of occurrence. The villagers rescued Pirya Kumari and admitted her to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) but Khushbu Kumari is still traceless.
