Motihari : Five NDA nominees including two ministers filed their nominations from different Assembly Constituencies (ACs) in East Champaran District in North Bihar on October 13, 2020.
Pramod Kumar, Art ,Culture and Youth Department Minister, on October 13, 2020, filed his nomination as BJP candidate from Motihari Assembly Constituency (AC) before the Returning Officer at Motihari Collectorate. Rana Randhir Singh, Minister for Cooperative, filed his nomination as BJP candidate from Madhuban AC before Returning Officer at SDO Office, Pakaridayal.
Sunilmani Tripathi filed his nomination as BJP nominee from Gobindganj AC while Krishna Nandan Paswan filed his nomination as BJP candidate from Harsidhi (SC) assembly segment at the SDO Office, Areraj.
Shalini Mishra, filed her nomination as JD (U) candidate from Kesariya assembly segment. She is daughter of late Kamala Mishra
Madhukar, a former CPI MP.
As per distribution of assembly seats in East Champaran District, 10 assembly segments were allotted to BJP while the remaining two seats went to the JD(U).
BJP National Vice president and MP from Purvi Champaran parliamentary constituency Radha Mohan Singh while launching NDA’s election campaign at Town Hall Maidan at Motihari on October 13, 2020, said that the NDA is committed to all-round development of the state. He appealed the people to cast their votes in favor of NDA candidates to facilitate continuance of a development oriented government in Bihar under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot for the development of Bihar and the state is well on path of a modern state in every sphere,” said Radha Mohan.
Radha Mohan said that PM Narendra Modi has done a lot for village artisans, farmers, and labourers. Lashing out at those opposing the new farm laws, he said that their politics was influenced by the middlemen. He praised the PM Modi`s works including building houses and toilets, cooking gas scheme, and opening of bank accounts of poor people.
