Patna : Five batsmen have so far scored 500 or more runs in the IPL 2018 with Rishabh Pant, 20, of Delhi Daredevils (DD) leading the pack with 582 runs in 12 matches with 128 not out being his highest.
The other four batsmen to score 500 or more runs are : Kane Williamson ( SRH) 544 runs in 12 matches, Lokesh Rahul (KXIP) 537 in 11 matches, Ambati Rayudu ( CSK) 535 runs in 12 matches with 100 not out being his highest, and Jos Buttler (RR) 509 runs in 12 matches.
Suryakumar Yadav (MI) is 6th in the rankings with 473 runs in 12 matches while Virat Kohli (RCB) is 7th with 466 runs in 11 matches. Shane Watson (CSK) is 8th with 424 runs in 12 matches with 106 being his highest, according IPL sources. MS Dhoni (CSK) has scored 413 runs in 12 matches. Shreyas Iyer (DD) is 10th in the list with 386 runs in 12 matches while Sanju Samson (RR) is 11th with 379 runs in 12 matches. Dinesh Karthik (KKR) is 12th with 371 runs in 12 matches.
Shikhar Dhawan (SRH) is 13th in the list with 369 runs in 11 matches while A B de Villiers (RCB) is 14th with 358 runs in 9 matches. Chris Gayle (KXIP) is 15th with 332 runs in 8 matches with 104 not out being his highest while Evin Lewis (MI) is 16th with 325 runs in 11 matches. Rohit Sharma (MI) has scored just 267 runs in 12 matches.
