Patna: Five people arrested in connection with the Intermediate examination results scam were sent to 15 days’ judicial custody by the chef judicial magistrate of Patna on Friday. Principal and centre superintendent of G A College in  Vaishali district Shail Kumari, Bisheshwar Yadav, Principal of Government High School,Rajendranagar, where evaluation of answer-sheets took place, Ranjit Mishra and Shambhunath Das, two employees of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) and Sanjiv Suman, an employee of G A college, were produced before the court which sent them to jail.

Police continued search for the absconding former BSEB chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and Vishun Rai College principal Bachcha Rai. The four students, who have also been named as accused in the FIR filed by the director, secondary education,  did not respond to the notices of Special Investigation Team (SIT) which had asked them to appear before it by Friday morning. Police sealed the Vishun Rai college building   .
