FIR lodged against Director of Broad Son Pvt Ltd

Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station, Ara,  on April 29, 2018, against Ashok Kumar, director of a sand company, Broad Son Commodities Private Limited, on the statement of the Director, Mines and Geology department, Parashuram Singh, in connection with embezzlement of government fund, forgery, breach of contract and other irregularities.

Sandghats in Bhojpur district were auctioned for about Rs 72 crore to the Broad Son Commodities Private Company in 2015 for five year on the condition of a 20% increase in the amount per annum from 2015 to 2019 but the company violated the condition besides keeping payment of about Rs 61 crore pending between 2016 to 2018. The company also did not pay interest amount to the government.
