FIR lodged against 30 secondary school teachers in Runnisaidpur in Sitamarh

Sitamarhi : Block Education Officer(BEO), Runnisaidpur, following directions from Sitamarhi district administration, lodged FIR against 30 secondary school teachers on March 2, 2020, for boycotting evaluation of answer-books of Intermediate Examination. They were assigned the duty of examining the answer-books but they didn’t report at the evaluation centres.

It may be mentioned here that the ongoing evaluation boycott agitation by Niyojit teachers and Mandeya teachers of affiliated colleges entered 15th day on March 2.  They are sitting on dharna at all the four evaluation centre in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar. They staged gherao of organised people’s representatives on March 1, 2020. The district administration is contemplating to lodge more FIRs and start the process of suspension against erring teachers.
