FIR lodged against 3 doctors after death of woman during surgery

Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station on June 19, 2018, against three doctors: Dr Pawan Kumar, Dr Bhagirathi Singh, and Dr Anil Kumar, Compounder Jitendra Singh and a Nurse, of a private Nursing Home after the death of a woman Rukmani Devi during an operation. No arrest has so far been made in this connection.

SHO, Udwantnagar police station, Rajeev Kumar said that Rukmani Devi, wife of Rahil Sharma of village Bhelai under Udwantnagar police station, was admitted at a private Nursing Home near zero mile under the police station on June 18, 2018, evening, for the operation of Uterus. During operation on June 19 early morning, Rukmani Devi died after which her family members went on rampage at the hospital holding the doctors responsible for her death. Later, a named FIR was lodged with police against three doctors, a Compounder and a nurse of the hospital.
