FIR against 7 persons/establishments at Sahar for Model Code of Conduct violation

Ara : Sector Magistrate, Sahar block in Bhojpur district, on March 15, 2019, lodged a named FIR with Sahar police station against seven persons and establishments including AGM Mall, MDR Mall, Sushil Home Pipe, Vaidya V K Bharati in connection with alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct.

Block Development Officer (BDO), Sahar, Manish Kumar, said that district administration had repeatedly requested the political parties to remove posters, banners, and wall writings from the buildings, walls, poles but some recalcitrant persons and establishments did not pay heed to the appeal.

BDO, Sandesh, lodged an FIR against the owners of a orchestra party Bindi Kumar and Ruby Kumari with Sandesh police station. The BDO also lodged an FIR against Md Maqbool Alam and Azad Ali with Sandesh police station. The FIRs were lodged for alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct.
