FIR against 54 for illegal use of crushers

Sasaram : A named FIR was lodged with Dehri-on-Sone Town police station police station in Rohtas district on August 17, 2017, against 54 land owners under Mining and Forest Act in connection with illegal use of crushers at Dusadhi Mauza and Jamuhar violating strict order of the district administration.

The FIR was lodged against Yamuna Singh, Chandrika Dusadh, Zamindar Mahto, Rajaram Mahto, Dilip Mahto, Jagnnath Prasad Singh, Ram Iqbal Singh, Ramdasi Devi, Ram  Kali Devi, Kumar Balwant Singh, Suraj Singh, Kedar Sah, Ramadhar Singh, Rajendra Singh, Surendra Singh, Shatrughna Singh, Shamsher Singh, Vishwanath Singh, Prithvi Nath Singh, Basant Mahto, Vishwanath Mahto, Ganesh Yadav, Ram Karan Yadav , Rupam Mahato, Ram Subhag Singh, Ramashish Singh, Krishna Kumar Ram, Krishna Sah, Ganga Dayal Singh, Harendra Singh, Rameshwar Mehta, Hridaya Ram, Rajaram Prasad, Ramashrya Dusadh, Ram Ji Ram, Ranjeet Kumar, Gulabia Kuer and Ayodhya Ram.

SDPO, Anwar Javed Ansari, said that the Rohtas district administration had banned illegal stone crushing in the district and had warned the stone mafias and land owners to refrain from their illegal activities yet illegal stone crushing was going on with impunity in the area. So the CO was asked to inquire into the matter and submit his report. The SDPO said that the FIR was lodged on the basis of report of the CO and added that the police officers had been directed to arrest the named accused failing which stern action would be taken against the police officers concerned.
