New Delhi : Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, on April 3, 2017, said that the new category of visa to foreign film makers was a step taken by the government of India to ease issues related to their entry into the country. Both the Film Visa and Film Facilitation Office (FFO) are aimed at promoting India as an attractive filming destination to the world, according to a PIB release. The Minister stated this while meeting a Russian Delegation led by Alexey Volin, Vice Minister of Telecom and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation here.
