Patna : World No 3 in ATP rankings Roger Federer, 37, Switzerland, will meet World No 11 Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, in the quarter-finals of Paris Masters 1000 points tennis tournament on November 3, 2018, at Paris, France. World No 2 Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, will play World No 7 Marin Cilic, 30, Croatia, in another quarter-finals 0n November 3.

Federer beat World No 14 Fabio Fognini, 31, Italy, 6-4, 6-3 in the November 2, 2018. Federer fired 8 Aces in the match to 2 by Fognini. Fognini committed 6 double faults to 2 by Federer. Federer, the 3rd seed, won 4 break points in the match to 1 by Fognini. He also won 4 games in a row to 2 b y Fognini.

Nishikori, the 11th seed, beat World No 6 Kevin Anderson, 32, South Africa, 6-4, 6-4 in the Round of 16 on November 1. Anderson, the 7th seed, though fired 12 Aces in the match to just 1 by Nishikori. Nishikori, however, won 2 break points to none by Anderson. Nishikori also won 3 games in a row during the match.
