Ara : Some unidentified miscreants shot dead a farmer on Zamira-Alipur main road under Ara Muffasil police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on December 20, 2020, morning.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Ara Muffasil PS police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The reason behind the murder is still to be ascertained. The deceased was identified as Butail Lal Yadav of village Alipur under Ara Muffasil police station.
SHO, Muffasil PS, said that Butail Lal Yadav, a farmer of village Alipur, was on morning walk when some unidentified armed miscreants came and pumped bullet into his body from point blank range killing him on the spot and escaped.
