Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a farmer when he was sleeping at village Birampur under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district around midnight on August 7, 2020.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Pappu Singh alias Harishankar Singh, 45, son of Bindeshwar Singh. An FIR has been lodged with Koelwar police station in this regard and police are investigating the matter. Family dispute is said to be cause behind the murder.
SHO, Koelwar police station, said that Pappu Singh was sleeping near his house at Birampur when some unidentified miscreants pumped bullet into his body from point blank range ing him on the spot.
