Farmer gunned down at Naubatpur

Patna : Armed criminals gunned down a farmer Bhuneshwar Ram near block office under Naubatpur police station in Patna district on October 1, 2018. The deceased was a resident of Abharanchak. The criminals fired four bullets on him.
Police sources said that earlier armed members of Gulab Singh gang had gunned down a farmer Anjay Singh of the same village. Anjay Singh had some dispute over money lending with Ram and the latter was suspected to
have acted as liner in Anjay’s murder. It is suspected that in vengeance, Vijay Singh gang murdered Ram, sources added.
On getting information, local police rushed to the spot. Taking serious note of the incident, Patna SSP Mannu Maharaaj constituted a police team led by Phulwarisharif DSP to crack the case. Police team is carrying out raids at possible hideouts of the criminals.

It may be mentioned here that a week ago, the body of a youth was recovered from a field at village Sona in the area.
