Chas (Jharkhand) : The two-day Fancy Dress Competition organised at DPS Chas in Bokaro District in Jharkhand concluded on a grand note on October 25,2019. with more than 175 students participating at it in the presence of hundreds of students besides guardians and galaxy  of dignitaries.

The  toddlers dressed up as different characters like flowers, birds, pet animals, aquatic animals, Indian vegetables, freedom  fighters, and great leaders of the country during the competition. The competition helped the students overcome their stage fear bringing  out their inner talent and  gave them a platform to build their self-confidence.

The two-days Fancy Dress Competition was inaugurated  by Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Chief Mentor, DPS, Chas, N Murlidharan, Pro-Vice Chairman, DPS, Chas, along with  the chief guest Jose Thomas, Principal, GGPS school,  Chas, and  Principal of  DPS, Chas, Neelkamal Sinha.

The jury members on the first  day were Babita Kumari, Principal FI Pre-School, Pratima Sharma, Principal Prerna school, and  Payal Sinha, Principal Bachpan school, while on the concluding day the judges were Mahua Singh, Principal, GGPS Bokaro,  Annu Prakash, Principal, Eurokids, and Jyoti Singh, teacher, Mithila Academy..

Chief Mentor Dr Hemlata S Mohan appreciated the effort of the students and highlighted the importance of such events. She  urged the parents to understand the psychology of the students and help them in their development and said that participating at such events helps in developing the creativity of students. DPS Chas is committed to groom each and every child for which  it has been providing them the required platform. Besides studies,  the school should come up with extra curricular activities, pleaded Dr Mohan.
