Ara : An exorcist was killed at village Daulatpur under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district on October 1, 2018, night. Later, police recovered the body near Daulatpur embankment and brought it over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. Police have arrested his disciple Harihar Ram and sent him to jail in this connection.
SHO, Koelwar police station, Pankaj Saini said that an exorcist Kuldeep Paswan, 65, of village Semaria lived at Daulatpur village and exorcised those who sought his help. He used to visit distant places for the purpose taking his disciple Harihar Paswan along. On October 1, Harihar Paswan came to him and took Kuldeep Paswan for exorcising someone at another village. Later, police revered the body of Kuldeep Paswan on October 2, 2018, morning, with his throat slit.
Family members of Kuldeep Paswan said that Harihar Paswan had taken Kuldeep Paswan with him on October 1 evening, slit his throat and threw his body near the Daulatpur embankment.
