Chandrapura (Jharkhand) : Staff and officials of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), CISF Fire Squad, at Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC ), Chandrapura in Bokaro District in Jharkhand, on February 5, 2021, demonstrated the efforts being made to tackle any disaster here.
Chief Engineer (CE & Head of the Project, DVC Chandrapura, Subodh Kumar Gupta, who was present on the occasion, said that disaster never strikes with prior information. “It is a sudden event. We always have to remain alert to deal with it. It is the responsibility of the group to take full care of the security so that disaster does not occur,” CE Gupta said. He lauded the disaster management team, the fire brigade of the Central Industrial Security Force, and the security officers of DVC for their actions and success.
“We all need to be prepared to deal with the disaster. DVC personnel should also play an important role in dealing with disaster. They have also been trained when required,” CE Gupta added.
