Patna : England declared their first innings at 583/8 in 154.4 overs in the third test against Pakistan on day 2 at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, UK, with Zak Crawley scoring 267 in 393 balls hitting 34 fours and a six, his maiden test century that too a double ton, and Jos Buttler (wk) scoring 152 in 311 balls with 13 fours and 2 sixes.
Crawley and Buttler added 359 runs for the 5th wicket. All-rounder Chris Woakes scored 40 in 54 balls hitting 5 fours while spinner Dominic Bess remained unbeaten on 27 in 30 balls with 2 fours and a six.
In reply, Pakistan were 5/0 in 2 overs in their first innings in the 3rd session of play on day 2.
