Patna : England beat Ireland by 143 runs in the one-off test at Lord’s, London, on day 3 of the match on July 26, 2019, with fast bowler Chris Woakes taking 6/17 in 7.4 overs and Stuard Broad taking 4/19 in 8 overs. Chasing a target of 182, Ireland were bundled out for just for just 38 in 15.4 overs in their second innings with opener James McCollum scoring 11 and fast bowler Mark Adair scoring 8. Ireland had scored 207 in their first innings.

Earlier resuming at their ovrenight score of 303/9, England were all out for 303 in 77.5 overs in their second innings with opener and night watchman Jack Leach scoring 92, Jason Roy 72, captain Joe Root 31, and Sam Curran 37. England were all out for only 85 in their first innings with Tim Murtagh taking 5/13 in 9 overs. Jack Leach was declared Player of the Match.

New Zealand were all out for 26 against England in 1955.
