Engineer killed at Patna village, two arrested

Patna : Police on May 1, 2017, arrested two named accused: Nitesh and Shravan Kumar, in connection with murder of an engineer Anil Kumar, 25,  son of a farmer, at village Kutauna under Khusrupur police station in Patna district at 10,30 pm on April 30, 2017. Three other named accused and some unnamed accused are absconding.

Anil Kumar died after he was hit with a big stone on his head by few villagers when he objected to their beating a generator operator after it stopped functioning during a marriage. SHO, Khusrupur police station, Mrityunjay Kumar, said that police were conducting raids to arrest the remaining accused. Anil was a native of village Kutauna.
