Patna : Emma Raducanu, 18, UK, has jumped 127 places to be ranked World No 23 with 2,571 points in WTA Rankings released on September 13, 2021, after winning the US Open title last week bagging 2,000  Rankings points. Leylah Fernandez, 19, Canda, who lost to Raducanu in women’s singles final of US Open, has jumped 45 places to be ranked World No 28 with 2,254 points.

Ashleigh Barty (10,075 points), 25, Australia, and Aryna Sabalenka (7,720 points), 23, Belarus, remain World No and World No 2 respectively. Sabalenka had reached SF at US Open last week.  Karolina Pliskova (5,315 points), 29, Czech Repub;ic, has jumped 1 place and is ranked World No 3 after reaching the quarter-finals at U S Open. Elina Svitolina, 27, Ukraine, has also jumped 1 place and is ranked World No 4 with 4,860 points after reaching QF at US Open.

Naomi Osaka, 23, Japan, the winner of 4 Grand Slam titles including two Australian Open and two US Open titles, has s;lipped two places and is ranked World No 5 with 4,796 points. Reigning French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova, 25, Czech Republic, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 7 with 4,668 points after reaching US Open QF last week.

Garbine Muguruza, 27, Spain, has jumped one place to be ranked World No 9 with 4,390 points after reaching Round of 16 at US Open. Simona Hlep, 29, Romania, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 11 with 4,051 points.  Maria Sakkari, 26, Greece, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No 13 with 3,750 points after reaching US Open semi-finals last week.

Angelique Kerber, 33, Germany, the winner of three Grand Slam singles titles, has jumped 2 places and is ranked World No 15 with 3,245 points after reaching US Open Round of 16 last week. Cori Gauff, 17, USA, has jumped 4 places and is ranked World No 19 with 2,915 points.  Former US Open Champion Bianca Andreescu, 21, Canada, has slipped 13 places and is ranked World No 20 with 2,777 points.

Ankita Raina, 28, India, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No 188 with 375 points.
