Ara : An elderly person outraged modesty of a six year old girl in Balbatara locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district on August 11, 2019. The residents of the area caught the accused and thrashed him.. On getting information, police rushed to the spot and rescued the accused from the clutches of mob and admitted him to Ara Sadar Hospital
Police also brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. A named FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station in this regard and police are investigating into the incident.
SHO, Ara Town Police Station, Janmjay Rai, said that a minor girl of Balbatara locality had gone to the market to buy something for her family when an elderly person enticed her giving her a one rupee coin, took her to a secluded place, and outraged her modesty. The girl returned home weeping and narrated the whole incident to her family members, who were shocked. Her family members along with other residents of the area went to the elderly person and assaulted him. In the meantime, someone informed police who rushed to the spot and rescued the accused and admitted him to Ara Sadar Hospital.
