Ara : Raj Bhuwan Rai, 60, of village Barhara village under Barahara police station in Bhojpur district drowned to death in river Ganga in the morning on March 30, 2017, when he was trying to cross the river towing the tail of his buffalo. He used to cross the river in this style daily to graze his buffalo in the riverine (diara) area on the other side of the river but on March 30 he met his watery grave when the buffalo suddenly stopped in the river. His body was fished out and police brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
