Education of girls necessary for upflift of society : Siddiqui

Bagaha : State finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, on April 9, 2017, said that education of girls was necessary for uplift of any society hence the parents should give equal attention to the education of both their sons and daughters.

Education will instill confidence among girls and improve both their skill and efficiency, Siddiqui said while inaugurating the new building of Noor girls high school, Jharmahuyee, on April 9. An educated girl is unlikely to marry till she is prepared mentally and materially as well, he said.

Noor girls high is being run by Hiqamat Foundation Trust. Saiyyad Gulrej Hoda, Manager of the trust, presided over the function. The land for the building was donated by Haji Samsad Ali, Mukhiya, Raibari Mahua panchayat under Bagahs-1 block in West Champaran district.
