ED raids Gitanjali Group’s showrooms at Muzaffarpur, Kishanganj

Muzaffarpur : Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams from Patna on February 19, 2018, seized diamond studded jewellery worth Rs 1.5 crore and several documents during raids conducted by it at the showrooms of Gitanjali Group at Muzaffarpur and Kishanganj in connection with its probe into PNB fraud worth Rs 11,400 crore.

The ED team conducted raids at Motijheel showroom of Gitanjali Group at Muzaffarpur besides its Day Market showroom at Kishanganj. The ED reportedly also conducted raid at Nakshatra showroom at Muzaffarpur. The ED had seized diamond jewellery worth Rs 2 crore from Gitanjali Group’s showroom at Maharaja Comlex, Patna, on February 18, 2018.
