Chas (Jharkhand) : Three DPS, Chas, Bokaro District, Jharkhand, students : Atharva Akshat (Class VI), Saksham Charanpahari (Class VIII),  & Sifa Perveen (Class IX), brought laurels to their school by being declared district toppers with their outstanding performance in Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) – National Assessment for Scientific Temperament  & Aptitude (NASTA) Examination, held on January 27 & 28, 2020 across the country.

The result of this examination was declared on June 2, 2020. More than two dozen schools of the district participated at this examination in which questions from Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, and General Studies subjectswere asked.

Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) is an initiative of Knowledge Alliance of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Institute of Science Technology & Development Studies (CSIR-NISTADS). The vision behind KAMP-NASTA is to identify and capture scientific & technological temperament in students to make India Global Leader in the field of science, Techno & Humanities.

The officiating principal P Shailaja Jayakumar congratulated the children and wished that the children would continue to bring more fame to the institution in the days to come.
