Bokaro (Jharkhand) : One lakh students from around 300 schools across Jharkhand participated at the Telegraph Young Star Reader contest, Season 13, conducted by The Telegraph. Children had to share their opinion on the published news headlines over a period of 60 days.

Out of one lakh students who participated across the state, three students of DPS Bokaro were among the top 12. They are : Krish Krejia (7 E), Shiksha Swaraj (8 B), and Shubham Kumar (9 B). They received a tab and a certificate each. Nine other DPS Bokaro students, who figured among the top 500 in the state, received a certificate for their commendable  contribution. The certificate winners are: Riddhima of class 7, Anushka Srivastava and Deepika Choubey of  class 10, Suhani Bharti of class 9, Liza Singh and Anuska Barik of Class 8, Darshna Nandini, Richa and Shaan Mukherjee of Class 7.

Congratulating the winners, Principal, DPS Bokaro,  A S Gangwar, said that these kind of contests not only improve the writing flair of the students but also widen their perspective and keep them updated.
