Bokaro (Jharkhand) : The saga of excellence continues as Chanda Bharti, a DPS Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, alumnus, secured second rank in the recently declared result of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Examination 2020. Pankaj Kumar, another alumnus of the school, secured 200th rank.
After completing her 12th from Delhi Public School Bokaro Steel City, Chanda Bharti (Batch 2012), completed her B.Tech from BIT Sindri and joined as Assistant Engineer at BUDCO. Daughter of a teacher mother Kundan Kumari and Engineer father Vivekanand Yadav, Chanda always believed in hard work and was always sincere in her efforts.
Talking to school teachers and authorities, Chanda said, “The school has been a learning ground for me which helped widen my perspective and motivated me to dream big and achieve the best. I will forever be indebted to my teachers who groomed me to evolve into a wholesome individual.”
After completing his 12th from Delhi Public School Bokaro Steel City, Pankaj Kumar completed his graduation from Hindu College and Masters from BHU, Varanasi, UP.
It may be mentioned here that the students of DPS Bokaro have performed exceptionally well at the coveted UPSC- CSE 2020 where Yash Jaluka (AIR 4), Shubham Khandelwal (AIR 133), Ritvik Srivastava (AIR 155), Shubham Mohanka (AIR 196), and Dhavalendu (AIR 663) made their mark.
Expressing his delight on this achievement, A S Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, said, “Preparation is the key to success. The determination and dedication exhibited by the students helped them achieve success today. I hope they will contribute positively to making a better society and act as role models for the young learners.”
