Bokaro ( Jharkhand) Acknowledging the diligence and dedication of the students in scholastic and co-scholastic activities, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro, Jharkhand, organised ‘Medha…The Prowess’ a special prize distribution ceremony on January 20, 2021, on the school campus. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Prabhat Kumar, DIG, Coal Field Range.
Applauding the commendable feat of the students, Chief Guest Prabhat Kumar said , “Life is not always the same and it takes unexpected twists and turns. Real success lies in learning from your failures and rising again.” He lauded the pioneering initiatives of the school to hone the creative potentials and creativity of the students in various fields.
Earlier, the programme commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and the melodious rendition of the welcome song and the school song followed by the welcome address presented by the Head Girl Anoushka Mukherjee. The energetic moves of the synchronised dance performance on ‘Ganesh Utsav’, enthralled the gathering.
The felicitation ceremony witnessed the excellence achieved by the meritorious, resolute and committed students. Eighty students received the awards for their outstanding achievements in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas. During the function, the Annual Magazine- ‘DIPS Reflection’ and its E-Version was released by the Chief Guest.
Describing the awardees as prodigies, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A.S.Gangwar, said that mere knowledge is static. Wisdom intelligence and vibrant thinking makes it alive and the school endeavours to bring out the intrinsic potential of every child through such programmes.
