Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : DPS Bokaro has been declared the state champion at Green Olympiad organised in October, 2017, by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). The results were declared on July 18, 2018.

More than hundreds of schools from all over the country and abroad participated in the Olympiad which is held at three levels – primary, middle and higher classes known as level – 1 (class IV & V), level – 2 (class VI – VIII) and level – 3 (class IX & X) respectively.

DPS, Bokaro has been declared the state winner in the level one and level three. Krish Kejaria was declared the state champion in level – 1 while Yash Vardhan was declared the state champion at Level -3. The exam is conducted for Educating Youth on Sustainable Development and attracts participation from lakhs of students across the globe.

International Commerce Olympiad : Stuti Kumar of class XI brought laurels to DPS Bokaro for being declared the state topper in International Commerce Olympiad which was held in the month of October last year. The results were declared on July 18 evening. Stuti got the National Rank 6 in this event for which she was awarded the merit certificate, gold medal and a wristwatch.

It may be mentioned here that New Delhi based Humming Bird organizes International Commerce Olympiad for the students of classes XI and XII. Director & Principal, DPS Bokaro, Dr Hemlata S Mohan congratulated the successful students and wished them luck for their future.
