DPO, Kaimur, withholds salary of 5 Headmasters

Bhabhua : District Programme Officer (DPO), Secondary Education, Kaimur, on February 7, 2018, withheld the salary of five Headmasters (HMs) and served show cause notices on them for their failure to deposit the uniform, cycle and scholarship amount into the bank account of the students through RTGS.

The salary of Headmasters of five schools:  High School, Hamirpur, Chand, Project High School, Chand, Shatruharan High School, Karnpur, Durgawati, Seva Niketan High School, Barhuli, and High School, Bhabhua, in Kaimur district, has been withheld.

Sources in the Education department said that amount for dress, cycle and scholarship was allotted and the HMs of these schools had received the amount to be distributed among the student through RTGS about three months ago. But, the HMs of these schools did not transfer the amount into the bank account of the students till date. The Kaimur DM had sought information regarding this but these HMs failed to provide the desired information.

Taking serious note of the matter, the DPO, Secondary Education, served show cause notices on the five HMs and also withheld their salary.
