DMs of Bhojpur, Samastipur & Sitamarhi transferred

Patna : Bihar Government on May 28, 2019, transferred 7 IAS officers including the District Magistrates (DM)s of Sitamarhi, Bhojpur, and Samastipur.

Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Vaishali, Raushan Kushwaha, an IAS officer of 2014 batch, has been transferred and appointed DM, Bhojpur, replacing Sanjeev Kumar, an IAS officer of 2012 batch. Sanjeev Kumar has been transferred and appointed Director, Science & Technology, Bihar.

Divesh Sehra, a 2005 batch IAS Officer and DM, Samastipur, has been transferred and appointed MD, Bihar State SC Co-operative Development Corporation. Sehra will also additional charge of Special Secretary, Road Construction Department (RCD). Chanreshekhar Singh, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Joint Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), has been appointed DM, Samastipur.

Deepak Anand, a 2007 batch IAS officer who was waiting for posting, has been appointed Secretary, Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Department.

DM, Sitamarhi, M Ramchandrudu, a 2009 batch IAS officer, has been transferred and appointed Additional Secretary, Disaster Management Department (DMD). Dr Ranjit Kumar Singh, a 2008 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, DMD, has been appointed DM, Sitamarhi.
