Patna : World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 34, Serbia, and qualifier Alex Molkan, will clash in the final of Belgrade Open, an ATP 250 points clay court tennis tournament, at Belgrade, Serbia, on May 29, 2021, at 5.30 pm, both winning their respective semi-final matches in three-sets.

Top seed Djokovic, the winner of 18 Grand Slam singles titles, battled past World No 119 Andrej Martin, 31, Slovakia, in three-sets 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 in first semi-final in 1hr 55 minutes. The Serbian won 7 bteak points during the match to 3 by Martin. He also won 6 games in a row in the match to 3 by Martin. Djokovic, in all, won 86 points duringt the match to 59 by Martin, who committed 3 double faults.

Qualifier & World No 255 Alex Molcan, 23, Slovakia, edged past 8th seed and World No 52 Federico Delbonis, 30, Argentina, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in 2nd semi-finals in 2hr 41 minutes rallying back from one set down. Molcan won 7 break points during the match to 6 by Delbonis. He won 4 games in a row in the match to 3 by Delbonis. Molcon, in all, won 113 points in the match to 102 by Delbonis.
