Patna : Six times champion and World No 1 in ATP rankings Novak Djokovic, 31, crushed World No 31 Lucas Pouille, 24, France, in the semi-finals in straight sets to storm into the finals of Australian Open (AO) on January 25, 2019, his 7th AO final. Djokovic, the winner of 14 Grand Slam singles titles, brushed aside Pouille 6-0, 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-finals at Melbourne Park, Melbourne, Australia.also won 7 games in a row in the match.
Djokovic was just as ruthless as World No 2 Rafael Nadal, the winner of 17 Grand Slam titles, was in his semi-finals match against sensational Stefanos Tsitsipas, 20, Greece, the World No 15, on January 23, 2019.
