Patna : Defending Champion and World No 1 player Novak Djokovic, Serbia, brushed aside World No 23 David Goffin, 28, Belgium, in straight sets to storm into the semi-finals of Wimbledon Championships at London on July 10, 2019, evening. Four -time champion and winner of 15 Grand Slam singles title, Djokovic crushed Goffin 6-4, 6-0, 6-2 in the quarter-finals at All England Club to reach the SFs.
Djokovic broke Goffin’s service seven times in the match while the latter could break his service only once. Goffin served 4 Aces in the match to 3 by Djokovic.
