Patna : Four-time champion and top seed Novak Djokovic, 32, Serbia, swept aside 7th seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, 6-1, 6-2 in just 58 minutes in the quarter-finals to advance to the semi-finals of Rolex Paris Masters at Bercy, Paris, France, on November 1, 2019, evening, to take revenge of his QFs loss at the hands of the Greek on  October 11, 2019.

World No 1 Djokovic won 4 break points in the match besides winning 5 games in a row. He also won 33 service points in the match to 21 by World No 7 Tsitsipas. The Serbian fired 5 Aces in the match to 3 by the Greek. Djokovic’s winning percentage both on his first and second serve ( 79 % & 77%) was much higher than that of Tsitsipas ( 63 % & 40 %).

World No 27 Grigor Dimitrov, 28, Bulgaria, also advanced to the SFs of the tournament defeating World No 42 Cristian Garin, 23, Chile, 6-2, 7-5 in 89 minutes in QFs. The Bulgarian won 5 break points in the match to 2 by Garin. He also won games in a row in the match to 2 by Garin. Dimitrov fired 6 Aces in the match to 1 by Garin. Dimitrov will face Djokovic in the SFs on November 2, 2019.
