Patna : World No 1 & top seed Novak Djokovic, 34, Serbia, who is bidding for his 6th Wimbledon singles title, had won the first two sets in the semi-final against 10th seed Denis Shapovalov, 22, Canada, on Centre Court, All England Club, Wimbledon, London, UK, till 11.24 pm on on July 9, 2021.
Djojokovic, who has won 19 Grand Slam singles titles, won the first set 7-6 and second 7-5.In the third set, the score was 2-2 after four games. Shapovalov was, however, putting up good fight. Both the players have won 3 games each in a row. Djokovic has fired 6 Aces to 5 by the Canadian.
Seventh seed Matteo Berrettini has already reached the Wimbledon final beating 14th seed Hubert Hurkacz, 24, Poland, in four-sets in first semi-final on the day.
