Patna : Top seed & 2016 champion Novak Djokovic, 34, Serbia, beat World No 66 Tennys Sandgren, 29, USA, in straight sets on June 2, 2021, to reach the 2nd round of French Open, a Grand Slam tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts, at Stade Roland Garros, Paris, France. World No 1 and winner of 18 Grand Slam singles titles Djokovic beat Sandgren 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 in first round winning 5 break points and 5 games in a row during the match.
