Patna : Top seed Novak Djokovic, 34, Serbia, hammered 10th seed Cameron Norrie, 26, Britain, in straight sets in his third Group stage match at season-ending Nitto ATP Finals at Turin, Italy, on November 20, 2021, early morning. World No 1 Djokovic, the winner of 20 Grand Slam singles titles, beat Norrie 6-2, 6-1 winning 5 break points and 4 games in a row during the match.
Djokovic fired 5 Aces during the match to 1 by Norrie, who committed two double faults. Djokovic’s winning percentage both on his first and second serve ( 76 % & 78 %) was much better than that of Norrie’s (56 % & 35%). The Serbian, in all, won 56 points in the match to 33 points by the Brit.
With this win, Djokovic has won all his three Group stage matches and will face 3rd seed Alexander Zverev, 24, Germany, in semi-final, at 1.30 am on November 21, 2021
