Djokovic beats Isner in Group Stage match in Nitto ATP finals

Patna : World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, comfortably beat World No 10 John Isner, 33, USA, in the Group Stage match at Nitto ATP finals on November 13, 2018, in London, UK. Djokovic beat Isner 6-4, 6-3 winning 3 break points in the match. Isner though fired 13 Aces in the match 6 by Djokovic.

Isner committed 2 double faults to one by Djokocic, who won 4 games in row. Djokovic’s winning percentage on both his first and second serve was much better than that of Isner. His winning percentage on second serve was 92 % compared to Isner’s 44%.

Djokovic will play World No 5 Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, in another Group Stage match on November 14, 2018. World No 3 Roger Federer, 37, Sitzerland, who lost his first Group Stage match to World No 9 Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, will face World N0 8 Dominic Thiem, 25, Austria, in second Group Stage match on November 14.
