Patna : Top seed and four-times champion Novak Djokovic, 32, Serbia, beat World No 27 Grigor Dimitrov, 28, Bulgaria, in a tough contest to enter the final of Rolex Paris Masters at Bercy, Paris, France, on November 2, 2019, night.
Djokovic beat Dimitrov 7-6, 6-4 in 1hr 38 minutes in the semi-finals winning one break points besides winning 3 games in a row in the match. The Bulgarian fired 7 Aces in the match to 5 by the Serbian, who had lost in the final in 2018 to World No 8 Karen Chachanov, 23, Russia. Djokovic committed 4 double faults to 1 by Dimitrov. Djokovic’s winning percentage both on his first and second serve (85 % & 76 %) was much higher than that of Dimitrov ( 79% & 69 %).
